Gravitational Pattern Alignment

Gravitational Pattern Alignment (GPA) is a chiropractic technique that aims to improve overall health and well-being by correcting imbalances in the body. It is based on the idea that the body is constantly trying to maintain a state of balance, and that when this balance is disrupted, it can lead to pain and dysfunction.

I have been a chiropractor for almost 20 years now. The one thing I enjoy the most is learning new methods and techniques to better serve my patients. Over a month ago, I was fortunate enough to take a class on a technique called Gravitational Pattern Alignment. It was taught by an amazing chiropractor Dr. Nelson Vetanze who has over 44 years of experience treating some pretty high profile athletes.

A GPA chiropractor uses a variety of techniques to correct these imbalances, including adjustments, muscle work, and exercises. They may also recommend lifestyle changes, such as changes to diet or exercise, to help the body maintain its balance.

GPA has been shown to be effective in treating a variety of conditions, including back pain, neck pain, headaches, and even digestive problems. It is a safe and gentle form of treatment that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

What is Gravitational Pattern Alignment?

Gravitational Pattern Alignment (GPA) is a chiropractic technique that aims to improve overall health and well-being by correcting imbalances in the body. It is based on the idea that the body is constantly trying to maintain a state of balance, and that when this balance is disrupted, it can lead to pain and dysfunction.

GPA chiropractors use a variety of techniques to correct these imbalances, including adjustments, muscle work, and exercises. They may also recommend lifestyle changes, such as changes to diet or exercise, to help the body maintain its balance.

How does GPA work?

The body is constantly being bombarded with stimuli from the environment. These stimuli can cause the body to go into a state of stress, which can lead to imbalances in the body. GPA chiropractors use a variety of techniques to help the body return to a state of balance.

One of the most common techniques used in GPA is chiropractic adjustments. Chiropractic adjustments are designed to restore the proper alignment of the spine and other bones in the body. This can help to improve the overall function of the body and reduce pain and dysfunction.

GPA chiropractors may also use muscle work and exercises to help the body return to a state of balance. Muscle work can help to release tension in the muscles and improve flexibility. Exercises can help to strengthen the muscles and improve overall fitness.

What are the benefits of GPA?

GPA has been shown to be effective in treating a variety of conditions, including back pain, neck pain, headaches, and even digestive problems. It is a safe and gentle form of treatment that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

Some of the benefits of GPA include:

  • Pain relief
  • Improved flexibility
  • Increased strength
  • Improved balance
  • Improved overall health and well-being

Who should try GPA?

GPA is a safe and gentle form of treatment that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It is especially beneficial for people who are suffering from back pain, neck pain, headaches, or digestive problems. However, it can also be beneficial for people who are simply looking to improve their overall health and well-being.

“The basic concept of the GPA Chiropractic Technique (Gravitational Pattern Alignment) is based on Newton’s Third Law of nature and its effect on the human body. When any body part is out of alignment, gravity immediately forces the body to rebalance creating distortions throughout the musculoskeletal chain.

Additionally, our eyes are designed to remain horizontal and the brain makes proprioceptive responses to hold the eyes level causing a profound impact on how the body compensates against gravity. The combination of misalignment, gravity, and level eyes will compound even a minor misalignment, taking a gradual, and increasing, toll on body parts and symptoms that may not appear for weeks or even years. The theory of GPA is to achieve and maintain the two-legged postural structure in an upright structure symmetrically balanced relative to the downward stress of the gravitational field. When this is achieved, discomfort is relieved.”

I Fix Problems, I Don't Sell Chiropractic Packages

In all my years of being a doctor I've learned that many chiropractors are in the business for themselves. Many providers use timelines & sales pitches consisting of a package of 10 or 15 visits.  These are probably chiropractors who are in the profession for the wrong reasons.
